About Kulture Connection
Kulture Connection began with a simple realization: music has the power to bring people together. What started as a small community for local Stray Kids fans quickly became something much bigger. Through monthly meet-ups, creative workshops, volunteer projects, and shared experiences, we watched complete strangers become genuine friends. People who came because of K-pop stayed because they found a welcoming community where they could learn, connect, and belong. As those relationships grew, so did our vision. We realized that K-pop wasn't the destination—it was the doorway.Behind the music is a rich culture filled with history, language, traditions, food, art, and stories waiting to be explored. We envisioned an organization that could use the excitement of K-pop as a catalyst to inspire curiosity, encourage cultural understanding, and create meaningful connections between people from all backgrounds. That vision became Kulture Connection.Today, Kulture Connection exists to build community through Korean culture by creating opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate together. From fan communities and dance workshops to cultural events, educational programming, and future initiatives in schools and international exchange, our goal is to make Korean culture accessible, welcoming, and enriching for everyone.Whether you're a lifelong fan, just discovering Korean culture, or simply looking for a place to belong, you'll always have a seat around our table.Because at Kulture Connection, we believe that the strongest communities are built one conversation, one experience, and one connection at a time.

A note from our founder
Hi! I'm Karissa.Like many people, my journey into Korean culture began with K-pop. What I didn't expect was how quickly music would lead me to something much bigger—a community of people who inspired, supported, and welcomed one another. When I started organizing local fan meet-ups, I watched complete strangers become genuine friends. I saw people step outside their comfort zones, discover new interests, and build connections they might never have made otherwise. It became clear that while K-pop brought us together, it was community that kept us coming back. That experience inspired me to dream bigger.I created Kulture Connection because I believe Korean culture has the power to spark curiosity, foster understanding, and bring people together across backgrounds and generations. My hope is that this organization becomes a place where everyone feels welcome to learn, explore, and build meaningful connections—whether they're lifelong fans, just beginning their journey, or simply curious to discover something new.Thank you for being part of this adventure. I can't wait to see what we build together.— Karissa Wheelock
